Frequently asked questions

Is it scary?

No. Maybe a bit creepy, but not scary.

are we really getting locked in a room?

The door is locked as unlocking and escaping is the final step of the game, but can be pulled to open, technically. Also, the game is closely monitored by personnel at all times.

is this a good activity to do with my family?

Absolutely! This experience is perfect for a family night outing, family get-togethers, and the holiday season when family is visiting and you are looking for something fun to do.

How long does it last?

Each event lasts about an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half. You should arrive about 15 to 20 minutes early for a quick briefing on the game and then you are ready to play! Afterwards, you can get some pictures with your group and either celebrate the win or admit defeat!

what age do my kids need to be to play?

Kids really love these games and can be valuable players, but they won't be able to do it all on their own. Kids 16 and 17 years of age can play alone with a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Kids 14 and 15 years of age must have one participating paying adult per every 4 kids in the room as well as a parent/guardian waiver. Younger children will not be allowed to participate in groups as the game is geared toward older kids and adults and would be much too difficult for those younger than 14. We may be able to make allowances for families with a child younger than 14 to participate with a group of older people. Contact us here to inquire.

if my group is only 2 or 3 people, will we be in the room with strangers?

If you reserve less spaces than the room has to offer, there is a good possibility that your will be in the game with other people. However, in this festive atmosphere, more people can make the experience way more fun and, honestly, it makes your chances of beating the room much better. So, the more, the merrier! If you would like to be in the room with your group alone, you will need to reserve all the available spots.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just your thinking cap... and reading glasses if you need 'em!

What if I want to Redo a room I didn't beat?

We would love to have you back to try again! To redo a room, you need to either book the whole room (it wouldn't be fair to play again with others who have never played the room before) or wait until we have our Redo Days, which we will be scheduling once a month.

What if I need to change or cancel my reservation?

You can change or cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before your scheduled session by clicking on the orange "View Booking" button in your confirmation email. If you didn't receive a confirmation email, you may have entered your email incorrectly, so email us your reservation details and we will take care of it. We cannot accept changes or cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled session.
